SNS DEFENCE ACADEMY organized a Guest lecturer on Career in Defence for Engineers, Lt. S.EASAN Ex-Naval Officer is a Chief guest for this event. Lt.Esan is an action-packed Commander of a voluntary Disaster Rescue Squad whose members include highly trained officers from Tri-Services and Coast Guard. His Squad got into some of the worst Flood Affected areas in Tamilnadu and Kerala and rescued nearly 750 people including many Pregnant ladies, senior citizens, and infants using boats assisted by Helicopters. He is an expert in identifying and training potential youngsters for qualifying as Officers in the Military and has given nearly 300 officers so far. He is also a trainer for Civil Services Personality Test and has helped many become IAS, IPS, officers. He believes in leading by example and being there on the ground when people are in trouble. He has risked his life several times for the unknown. For his services to mankind, he has received several recognitions including a commendation from Chief Minister of Kerala.
