To raise awareness about the value of the handloom industry and its contribution to the socioeconomic development of the nation in general, as well as to promote handlooms, increase the income of weavers, and boost their pride in particular, the Department of Costume Design and Fashion of Dr. SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science organized a handloom fashion show on August 12, 2022.
