Overview: As an Anchor at SNS Media House, you will be the face and voice of our media productions, responsible for presenting news, stories, or entertainment content to our audience. This role demands charisma, confidence, and the ability to engage viewers through compelling delivery and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• On-Air Presentation: Present news, stories, or entertainment content in a clear, engaging, and professional manner.
• Script Reading: Read scripts fluently and naturally while maintaining eye contact with the camera and connecting with the audience.
• Interviewing: Conduct interviews with guests or experts, asking insightful questions and facilitating engaging discussions.
• Research: Research and gather information on topics to be presented, ensuring accuracy and relevance of content.
• Adaptability: Adapt to breaking news situations or live broadcasts, delivering information effectively under pressure.
• Collaboration: Work closely with producers, directors, and technical teams to coordinate show segments and ensure smooth production flow.
• Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback from producers and directors to improve delivery and presentation skills.
• Engagement: Interact with viewers through social media platforms and live interactions to enhance viewer engagement and audience retention.
• Public Speaking: Represent SNS Media House at public events, press conferences, or promotional activities as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (4+ years) as a news anchor, television presenter, or comparable role in broadcast journalism or media.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear, articulate speaking voice and on-camera presence.
• Strong improvisational skills with the ability to handle unexpected situations and maintain composure.
• Knowledge of journalistic ethics and standards, with a commitment to accuracy and impartiality in reporting.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by live broadcasting schedules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcasting, or a related field. Additional training or certifications in public speaking or media presentation is a plus.
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous work as an anchor or presenter (if applicable).
